The Plays

Tea and Cabbage.jpg

Tea and Cabbage

When Sir Gawain embarks on his quest, he thinks it’s going to be relatively straight forward: Combat Sir Alexander the Invincible, defeat Sir Daniel the Bloody-Necked, overcome the Man-Hating-Knife-Wielding-Damsel, and scale the towering Tower of Terror to rescue the beautiful Lady Isabel. Unfortunately for Sir Gawain, no one writes fairy tales like they used to, and fighting his way to the tower is about to be the least of his problems. Clever, playful and absurd, “Tea and Cabbage” is a Monty Python-esque romp that could make even the Brothers Grimm crack a smile.

What? Sir Gawain taking his leisure with a cup of tea while neglecting the needs of a damsel in distress? Never!

Park Bench

“Everyone signs.” So says Mort, a tall stranger who approaches Helen Pierce in the park with a stack of papers he needs her to sign. Now. When she resists, it isn’t long before their battle of wills is involving innocent passers by, and Helen and Mort start to realize maybe they have more in common than they thought. “Park Bench” is a dark comedy with a humorous look at life, loss and moving on.

You don’t need to read it; you just have to sign. Everyone has to sign.

Nimbus Optimized.jpg

Nimbus Monologues

A dark psychological thriller as told through the monologues of a villain to his victims. All of Nimbus’ guests have one thing in common: they want him dead, and they’ve all tried to get close enough to do it. When a young couple arrives at his lair, the three of them get very close indeed.

No man can be perfectly good, that’s impossible, but can a man be perfectly corrupted? I like to think so. Thus, man is naturally more evil than good, because only in evil can he, of himself, obtain perfection.
